He was an American Marxist of the post-World War II era and is credited with being one of the organizers of the first demonstration in the United States against the Vietnam War. He is the author of Perestroika: A Marxist Critique. Fred Goldstein is the author of Low-Wage Capitalism and is a contributing editor to Worker’s World newspaper. He lives in New York City.
