Amazing Grace

Dave Dravecky is a remarkable man. After living his dream of becoming a major league baseball player, and then losing his pitching arm/shoulder to cancer, realized what was truly important in his life. Most people don't ever figure that out. It took this terrible disease to bring him to the realization that life isn't all about you. I went to see Dave and heard his story for myself. I laughed and cried at the same time. His story helped me to realize that some of the "stuff" in my life just isn't that big a deal. I learned that God is. I learned that no matter how difficult life is, God is the one you can always depend on to be there for you. Thank you Dave!!!!

The worth of this book

This book is about a man who lost his arm due to cancer and could no longer play baseball. His whole identity was based on his ability to play ball. This book is about his battle to regain his identity. This is a great book with a lot of ideas about how to realize what is important in life and what is not. This is definitely a book about God and faith, but I think anyone would like it and can gain valuable knowledge from it. Also, this is not just for men. It really could be titled The Worth of a Person.

Wonderful, well written book. I recommend for any person, encourage your sons to read. We need to build up not tear down our Fathers and Sons. They are vital to our nation and future.
